Aloha D2 families! I'm Ms. Goo. I'm originally from Kailua, Hawaii and I love this place. On the weekends, I like to go hiking or go to one of the many beautiful beaches. This will be my fourth year at Mokapu Elementary School and I think you are really going to like it here. Before this, I taught in Japan for a couple of years (irasshaimase for those of you that have been stationed there) and have taught at The St. Andrew's Schools in Honolulu.
My favorites: Starbucks drink: Chai latte with espresso Place to shop for school supplies: Amazon and Target Snack: fruit, nuts Thing to do in my free time: travel and go out to eat Best gifts I've received: pedicures, massages, restaurant gift certificate Thing to do on the weekend: go to brunch and walk on the beach Color: red, yellow Flower: sunflowers Decorations: tropical chic - pineapples and monstera leaves!
Ms. White, our 4th grade special education teacher:Aloha! My name is Ms. White, I am the special education teacher for fourth grade. I am originally from San Diego, California, and grew up right in front of Naval Air Station North Island (Halsey Field). After high school, I went to the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I graduated with a degree in elementary education with dual credentials in general and special education. This year I look forward to working with this beautiful community/'ohana here at Mokapu Elementary School.
